The Lord’s Day at Faith
Presbyterian Church (OPC)
Morning Order of Worship
“I gave my back to those
who strike, and my cheeks to those who pull out the
beard;
I hid not my face from
disgrace and spitting. But the Lord GOD helps me;
therefore
I have not been disgraced; therefore I have set my face like a flint,
and
I know that I shall not be put to shame. He who vindicates me is near.”

“Almighty and most
merciful Father, we have erred and strayed from Your
ways like lost sheep. We have followed too much the devices and desires of our
own hearts. We have not obeyed Your holy laws. We have
left undone those things which we ought to have done, and we have done those
things which we ought not to have done. But You, O Lord, have mercy upon us.
Spare those, O God, who confess their faults. Restore those who are penitent
according to Your promises declared unto us in Christ
Jesus our Lord. And grant, O most merciful Father, for His sake, that we may
live a godly, righteous, and sober life, to the glory of Your
holy name, Amen.”

Welcome
We extend a warm welcome to our visitors today.
We are delighted to have you worship with us. Our prayer is that God would
richly bless you through his Word and by his Spirit. We pray you will be
encouraged by the worship, witness and fellowship of Faith Presbyterian Church.
Please take a moment and sign our guest book. If you are interested in knowing
more about salvation in Jesus Christ or the ministry of this church, Pastor
Figura or any of our members are happy to talk with you.
Parents with young children: We encourage you to
worship with your children, and teach them how to worship the Lord. We realize
that at times it is difficult for them to sit quietly. Please do not think your
children are an unwanted disruption, on the contrary, they were created to worship
God alongside their parents. If necessary, feel free to take your child to either
of the back rooms. You are welcome to re-enter the worship service as soon as
you are ready.
Please join us after the morning worship service
for a fellowship meal. We reassemble for the afternoon worship service at
around

What Do We Believe?
We
believe that everyone has sinned and is in need of new life through Jesus
Christ. That new life is a gift from God, which is received by faith apart from
anything that we can do to earn that grace.
We
believe the Bible is the Word of God, inspired, infallible, and inerrant. We
believe the Bible reveals the only true and living God; that Jesus Christ, who
is God in the flesh, is the only Savior of mankind and the only head of His
Church; and that the Holy Spirit must change our sinful hearts if we are to
receive salvation as it is proclaimed in the Gospel.
The
Bible is our only rule of faith and practice. Our church also uses the Westminster Confession of Faith and the
accompanying Larger and Shorter Catechisms as a helpful summary which sets forth the system of
doctrine taught in the Bible.
We
emphasize to each individual the importance of living a holy life and carrying
out the Great Commission, both here and abroad, through evangelism and the
support of missions.
A

To all who are spiritually weary and
seek rest; to all who mourn and long for comfort; to all who struggle and
desire victory; to all who sin and need a Savior; to all who are
strangers and want fellowship; to all who hunger and thirst after
righteousness; And to whoever will come...
Faith Presbyterian Church offers her
welcome in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
